Who we are

TaWiMA is comprised of passionate photographers, filmmakers, conservation advocates, documentarians, and creatives — all united by a shared love for nature and a belief in storytelling as a catalyst for change. Tawima

Our Fellowship members are professionals with experience in wildlife photography, documentary filmmaking, conservation journalism, environmental research, and visual media. Many have worked across Africa’s wilderness areas, protected reserves, coastal regions and biodiversity-rich habitats.

We believe in combining art, ethics, and impact — creating visuals that are not just beautiful, but truthful, respectful, and meaningful.
